NCT ID NCT07013292
First seen May 11, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study is testing whether the drug omaveloxolone can improve swallowing difficulties in people with Friedreich's ataxia, a rare nerve disease that affects movement and coordination. About 40 French patients who have been taking the drug for at least six months will fill out a questionnaire about their swallowing at the start and after six months. The goal is to see if the drug eases this common and serious symptom.
