First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tests a new imaging method called OCT-NIRAF to see if it can predict how plaque builds up in heart arteries. About 40 adults with heart disease will get this special scan during a standard heart procedure, then a CT scan a year later. The goal is to learn if the new scan can spot which arteries are at risk for worsening disease.
