3D imaging could improve Artery-Opening procedures for walking pain

NCT ID NCT04434586

Summary

This study is testing whether using 3D imaging during artery-opening procedures leads to better long-term results for people with blocked leg arteries. Researchers will compare standard 2D imaging against 3D imaging in 166 adults with significant leg artery blockages causing pain while walking. The goal is to see if the detailed 3D views help doctors place artery-opening devices more effectively, keeping arteries open longer.
