Doctors track how stomach surgery fights diabetes and sleep apnea
NCT ID NCT06015620
Summary
This study aims to understand how weight-loss surgery helps improve obesity-related health problems like type 2 diabetes, sleep apnea, and high blood pressure. Researchers will follow 35 patients undergoing mini-gastric bypass surgery to see how their body composition changes and how quickly their health conditions improve after the procedure. The study is observational, meaning patients receive standard surgical care while researchers track their progress over time.
