Summary
This research study aims to understand how obesity contributes to pancreatic cancer development, particularly in African American and Non-Hispanic White populations. Researchers will collect tissue samples and medical data from 125 adults who have or are suspected to have pancreatic tumors. The goal is to identify biological differences that might explain why obesity affects cancer risk differently across racial groups, which could lead to better future treatments.
