Summary

This study aims to find the most effective way to give weekly feedback to people trying to lose weight. Researchers will test different types of messages to see which helps participants track their progress and lose more weight. About 127 adults with overweight or obesity will use a smart scale and smartphone app to self-monitor and receive feedback over several weeks.
