NCT ID NCT06690905
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looked at whether giving an antibiotic (piperacillin-tazobactam) as a longer infusion helps people with obesity reach the right drug level in their blood. It included 45 hospitalized adults with obesity who needed the antibiotic. The main goal was to see if a larger study is possible, not to prove the treatment works.
