NCT ID NCT05176015
First seen Mar 19, 2026 · Last updated Jun 19, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tested whether using special glasses (Frenzel lenses) and a step-by-step checklist helps emergency doctors better detect a specific eye movement called nystagmus in people with sudden dizziness. 120 adults with recent dizziness were examined with and without the lenses. The goal was to see if these tools improve diagnosis and help tell apart common inner-ear problems from serious conditions like stroke.
