First seen Mar 12, 2026 · Last updated Jun 23, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tests a new oral drug called NXP900 in people with advanced solid tumors (like lung, kidney, or mesothelioma) that have not responded to standard treatments. The trial has two parts: first, finding the right dose, and then seeing if the drug shrinks tumors. It is a first-in-human study, so safety and effectiveness are still unknown.

What this could lead to
If successful, this could lead to a new treatment option for people with advanced solid tumors that have not responded to other therapies.
What could go wrong
This is a very early Phase 1 trial with only 140 participants, so the drug may not prove effective or safe in larger studies. Side effects are unknown at this stage.
