New hope for Tough-to-Treat leukemia: experimental drug NX-5948 enters phase 2

Summary
This study tests an experimental drug called NX-5948 in about 100 adults whose chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) or small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL) has returned or stopped responding to standard treatments. Participants must have already tried both a BTK inhibitor and a BCL-2 inhibitor. The main goal is to see if the drug can shrink or control the cancer, with participation lasting up to 5 years or longer if the disease stays under control.
