Could a simple drink calm hospital confusion in seniors?

Summary
This study is testing if a special amino acid drink can help prevent or reduce the severity of delirium (sudden, severe confusion) in older adults who are hospitalized for infections. Up to 60 participants aged 60 and older will be enrolled. Some will receive the drink twice a day for up to 4 days, while others receive standard hospital care, to see if the drink makes a difference.
