Summary
This study looks at whether omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin D supplements can help people with COPD who are losing weight and muscle (a condition called pulmonary cachexia). About 45 adults with COPD and cachexia will take either omega-3 or vitamin D supplements. Researchers will measure changes in body weight, muscle mass, appetite, and fatigue over time to see if these supplements improve health.
