NCT ID NCT07269821
First seen Dec 16, 2025 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tested whether a 12-week course of dietary supplements (including polyphenols, prebiotics, and antioxidants) could help people who recently lost weight with GLP-1 drugs maintain muscle, improve mood, and support gut health. 70 adults who had stopped their weight-loss medication were randomly assigned to receive the supplements or a placebo. The goal was to see if the supplements could prevent metabolic rebound and support overall health after rapid weight loss.
