First seen Apr 12, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looks at whether using realistic patient simulations and video lessons can help nursing students better recognize phlebitis (vein inflammation from IVs) and make smarter decisions. About 90 first-year nursing students will be split into groups: one gets traditional teaching, the other gets simulation or video training. The goal is to see which method boosts their skills and confidence, ultimately improving patient safety.
