Summary
This study tested a training program designed to help oncology nurses in Oman better care for patients with serious illnesses and at the end of life. 189 nurses took part, with some receiving the training and others continuing their usual work. The researchers measured changes in nurses' knowledge, attitudes, and practices related to palliative care. The goal was to see if a culturally adapted program could improve the quality of care for dying patients.
