First seen Apr 07, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tests whether a nurse-led program of educational sessions, phone reminders, and a booklet can help people on hemodialysis stick to their diet, fluids, and activity recommendations, and improve their quality of life. About 112 adults who have been on dialysis for at least 3 months will take part. One group gets the nurse-led support, while the other gets usual care. Researchers will check changes in weight between dialysis sessions and self-reported adherence and quality of life after 2 and 6 months.
