NCT ID NCT07506980

First seen Apr 07, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study tests whether a nurse-led program of laptop-based education, phone reminders, and a booklet can help people on hemodialysis better follow their diet, fluid limits, and physical activity recommendations. About 112 adults who have been on dialysis for at least 3 months will be split into two groups: one gets the nurse-led support, the other gets usual care. Researchers will measure changes in weight between dialysis sessions and quality of life over 6 months.
