Summary

This study tests a program where specially trained nurses start conversations about palliative care early after a child's cancer diagnosis. The goal is to see if this improves the child's quality of life and reduces symptoms. About 120 children with solid tumors or blood cancers and their families will take part, with some receiving the nurse program and others getting standard care.
