NCT ID NCT07375719
First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looked at how diabetes and gum disease affect the cells in your mouth. Researchers collected cells from the gums of 95 adults with diabetes and different stages of gum disease. They checked for changes in the cell's nucleus, like tiny spots or shape shifts, to see if these changes relate to blood sugar control and gum health. The goal was to better understand how these two conditions interact at a cellular level.
