Summary
This study aimed to find out how common non-tuberculous mycobacteria (NTM) infections are in people with cystic fibrosis in France. Researchers collected sputum samples and blood tests from 848 patients to compare culture and serology methods. The study was terminated early, but the data may help improve detection and tracking of these infections.
