Scientists map normal brain pressure during routine scans

NCT ID NCT03948971

Summary

This study aims to document what normal pressure levels are inside the veins of the brain. Researchers will measure these pressures in 10 adults who are already scheduled for a standard brain angiogram for an unrelated medical reason. The goal is to gather baseline information to help doctors better understand and treat conditions like Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension (IIH), where brain pressure is too high.
