Scientists map normal brain pressure during routine scans
NCT ID NCT03948971
Summary
This study aims to document what normal pressure levels are inside the brain's drainage veins (sinuses). Researchers will measure these pressures in 10 adults who are already scheduled for a standard brain angiogram for an unrelated medical issue. The goal is to collect baseline data to help future research understand conditions like Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension, where this pressure is abnormally high.
