Summary
This study tested a new ultrasound technique called Nonlinear Elasticity Mapping (NEM) to better tell apart benign and cancerous breast lumps. Researchers measured how breast tissue stiffness changes under pressure in 172 women. The goal was to see if this method could improve diagnosis and reduce the need for biopsies.
