New PET imaging could reveal where cancer drugs go in real time
NCT ID NCT07440212
First seen Mar 01, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study will test a new type of PET scan that uses a radioactive label to track an immunotherapy drug (ivonescimab) in the body. The goal is to see how well the drug reaches and binds to esophageal tumors without needing a biopsy. About 50 adults with esophageal cancer will receive the labeled drug and then undergo PET imaging. The results may help doctors better understand drug distribution and improve future treatment decisions.
