First seen Mar 16, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study tested a new pain management plan for people having total knee replacement. All 116 participants received a long-acting numbing medication (HTX-011) along with other non-opioid pain relievers, avoiding strong opioid drugs. The goal was to see if this approach could effectively control pain after surgery. The study was completed and measured pain levels using a standard scale.
