Summary

This study tests a non-invasive device that stimulates the vagus nerve to help veterans with alcohol use disorder. The goal is to reduce withdrawal-related distress, cravings, and improve quality of life. Eighty veterans will receive the stimulation and be monitored for changes in anxiety, withdrawal symptoms, and brain responses to pain.
