First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study tests whether mild stimulation of a nerve in the head can improve blood flow and help the brain clear waste, which may slow cognitive decline. Researchers will enroll 55 healthy adults and people with mild traumatic brain injury. Participants will receive non-invasive stimulation while brain scans measure changes in blood and fluid flow.
