NCT ID NCT05233449

First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tested whether a non-invasive monitor, already used in adults, can also measure pain signals in children under general anesthesia. Thirty children aged 5-12 received brief, mild electrical stimulations of varying strength before surgery. The goal was to see if the monitor's readings changed with different stimulation intensities.
