First seen Mar 05, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study tests if gentle electrical stimulation on neck muscles can improve swallowing in people who recently had a stroke. The goal is to see if the stimulation helps strengthen muscles and reduce the risk of food or liquid going into the lungs.
