Summary

This study tests whether adding a mild electrical stimulation to the neck muscles can help people who recently had a stroke and now have trouble swallowing. Forty participants will receive either standard swallowing therapy or therapy plus electrical stimulation. The goal is to see if the stimulation improves muscle strength and reduces the risk of food or liquid going into the lungs.
