Can a new drug help you sleep through the night without heartburn?
NCT ID NCT07268820
Summary
This study aims to see which of two common heartburn medications works better at relieving nighttime symptoms and improving sleep for people with erosive reflux disease (GERD). About 160 Korean adults with frequent nighttime heartburn will take either zastaprazan or esomeprazole for 4 weeks. Researchers will compare how well each drug reduces heartburn-related sleep disturbances and improves overall quality of life.
