NCT ID NCT06507722

First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looks at how your internal clock (chronotype) affects blood sugar control in overweight young adults aged 18-23. Researchers will compare what happens when meals and glucose tests are timed to match or mismatch your natural sleep-wake cycle. The goal is to understand if night owls have worse glucose metabolism and why, which could lead to personalized meal timing advice.
