New mammogram tech aims for clearer cancer clues

NCT ID NCT07067788

Summary

This study is comparing two different mammogram machines to see if a newer model takes better pictures. Researchers want to know if the newer machine makes tiny calcium deposits in the breast easier for doctors to see, which can help spot cancer earlier. About 100 women who need a follow-up diagnostic mammogram will get scanned on both machines to compare image quality and patient comfort.
