New mammogram tech aims for clearer cancer clues
NCT ID NCT07067788
Summary
This study is comparing two different mammogram machines to see if a newer model takes better pictures of tiny calcium deposits in the breast, which can be an early sign of cancer. About 100 women who need a follow-up diagnostic mammogram after a suspicious screening will have scans on both machines. The goal is to see if the newer system provides clearer images and is more comfortable, which could help doctors spot cancer earlier.
