New rabies vaccine tested in thailand, shows promise for protection
NCT ID NCT04127786
Summary
This study tested a new rabies vaccine (called VRVg-2) to see if it works as well as two already approved vaccines. It involved over 1,700 healthy children and adults in Thailand who received the vaccine before any potential exposure to rabies. Researchers measured the body's immune response and monitored safety to see if the new vaccine provides strong, lasting protection.
