New rabies vaccine shows promise in large thai trial
NCT ID NCT04127786
Summary
This study tested a new rabies vaccine designed to prevent infection before exposure. Over 1,700 healthy children and adults in Thailand received either the new vaccine or one of two existing vaccines to compare their safety and ability to trigger a protective immune response. Researchers also tested how well a booster shot worked one to three years later.
