New brain scanner could help doctors see stroke damage faster

Summary

This study is testing a new type of MRI scanner to see if it can better identify which parts of the brain might recover after a stroke. Researchers will compare the new scanner to standard MRI scans in 40 people who have just had a stroke. The goal is to see if the new technology can help doctors make better treatment decisions in the critical first hours.
