Revolutionary brain scanner could predict stroke recovery

NCT ID NCT07004140

Summary

This study is testing a new type of MRI scanner called Field-Cycling Imaging (FCI) to see if it can identify which parts of the brain might recover after a stroke. Researchers want to know if this new scanner can spot recoverable brain tissue within the first few hours after stroke symptoms begin. Participants will receive both the new FCI scan and a standard MRI scan soon after arriving at the hospital.
