Revolutionary 'Magic Angle' scanner could transform knee injury diagnosis

NCT ID NCT07366619

Summary

This study is testing a new, experimental MRI scanner designed to see knee ligaments and cartilage more clearly than standard MRI machines. Researchers will scan 20 adults with known ACL knee injuries to see if this 'Magic Angle' scanner provides better images to help doctors diagnose the exact type and severity of the tear. The goal is to improve the accuracy of diagnosis, which could help with planning surgery and monitoring recovery.
