First human tests for new HIV pill begin

Summary

This is an early safety study for a new oral HIV medication called MK-4646. It will test the drug in a small group of people with HIV who have not yet started standard treatment. The main goals are to see if the pill is safe and if it can lower the amount of HIV virus in the blood.
