First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tests a new way to treat glioblastoma, an aggressive brain cancer. Right after removing the tumor, doctors deliver a single dose of radiation directly to the surgical cavity using a special balloon device. Then patients receive standard chemotherapy and radiation. The goal is to see if this approach helps people live longer. The study involves 15 adults aged 40-75 with newly diagnosed glioblastoma.
