Sound waves and a drug may fight brain cancer

Summary
This study tests an experimental treatment for glioblastoma, a serious brain cancer. It combines a drug (5-ALA) with a special ultrasound device that aims to target cancer cells without surgery. About 103 people who have completed standard therapy will be randomly assigned to get the active treatment or a sham version. Both groups will also receive standard chemotherapy. The goal is to see if this approach helps people live longer without their cancer growing.
