First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tests a new, smarter electrical stimulation system to help people who have had a stroke walk better by correcting footdrop (when the foot drags). About 20 participants will try both the new system and a standard one during treadmill and overground walking. The goal is to see if the new system is safer, more comfortable, and more effective at improving walking.
