Doctors test new fix for delicate eye layer after cataract surgery
NCT ID NCT07364708
Summary
This study is testing a new surgical technique to repair a specific eye layer (the Descemet's membrane) that can detach after cataract surgery. It will involve 50 patients aged 50-70 who develop this complication within a week after their operation. Researchers will measure how well and how quickly the new method reattaches the membrane.
