Smart pump tech aims to make eye surgery safer
NCT ID NCT07062107
Summary
This study is testing a new 'adaptive fluidics' system designed to make lens surgery (like cataract removal) safer. The system aims to keep the pressure inside the eye stable during the operation, which can reduce risks. Researchers are comparing this new technology to the standard method in 320 patients to see if it improves surgical outcomes.
