Smart pump aims to make eye surgery safer
NCT ID NCT07062107
Summary
This study is testing a new 'adaptive fluidics' system designed to make lens surgery (like cataract removal) safer. The system automatically adjusts fluid pressure inside the eye during the operation to prevent dangerous pressure spikes. Researchers will use special imaging to see if this new technology helps keep the eye more stable for 320 patients.
