NCT ID NCT05771402

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tests a new combination of drugs (anti-PD-1 antibody and interferon) to help the immune system clear the hepatitis B virus from the body. The goal is to achieve a 'functional cure,' meaning the virus is no longer active and the patient can stop long-term medication. About 120 adults with chronic hepatitis B will take part to see if this approach is safe and more effective than current treatments.
