Doctors test 'Evolutionary' timing strategies in fight against rare childhood cancer

NCT ID NCT04388839

Summary

This study is testing whether changing the timing of chemotherapy can help control metastatic rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive childhood cancer. Participants and their doctors choose between four different chemotherapy schedule strategies to see which approach works best. The trial involves 12 newly diagnosed patients with a specific genetic type of the cancer that has spread to other parts of the body.
