Doctors test 'Evolutionary' timing to outsmart aggressive childhood cancer

NCT ID NCT04388839

Summary

This study is testing four different ways to time chemotherapy for a rare and aggressive type of childhood muscle cancer that has spread. The goal is to see if changing when and how chemotherapy is given can better control the cancer and prevent it from coming back. Patients and their doctors choose one of four treatment schedules, including a new 'adaptive' approach that adjusts treatment based on how the cancer responds.
