Gentler stitch for C-Section moms aims to ease pain, speed recovery
NCT ID NCT07436520
Summary
This study tested if a new way of stitching the muscle layer closed after a planned C-section could help reduce pain and allow mothers to walk sooner. Sixty women were randomly assigned to get either the standard stitching method or the new 'guide-suture' technique. Researchers then measured their pain levels and how far they could walk in the first two days after surgery to see if the new method worked better.
